Domona is an island within the Corvidan Archipelgo, located just off the coast of Septeiven. Domona is the largest island in the Archipelago without any permanent inhabited settlements, due to its rocky geology and its dangerous reputation. For the entirety of recorded history, Domona has been primarily used as a base for pirates and marauders, with several dozen bandits living in a tent city located on the island's northern beaches. An uninhabited wizard's tower also stands at the island's highest point, with a magical barrier surrounding it that does little to keep out treasure hunters. The tower's history is unclear, although most accounts allege that it was built by an Augurweld University arcane researcher who was driven off of the island of Septeiven for unethical experimentation. More outlandish rumors claim that the tower contains an extraplanar portal in the basement, or that the structure itself is a sentient entity that speaks through a crystal ball. Although the tower has been intermittently inhabited by various mages throughout its history, none have established lasting infrastructure or additional construction on the island.
